Historical Walking Tours
Our historical walking tours explore a wide range of themes from the modern and contemporary history of the region. Carefully designed on a sound scholarly basis and enriched with original research, they offer a unique opportunity to experience local history in an engaging and meaningful way. As we walk through the city's streets and neighborhoods, we connect places with the stories they hold, we revisit significant historical events, we uncover the hidden narratives behind familiar buildings and landmarks and we bring to light microhistories of the ordinary men and women whose everyday lives shaped the city's past.
