About Historiotopies
Our Vision
- Historiotopies is an enterprise active in the fields of research, education and historical tourism. Through a range of activities, such as historical walking tours, educational programs and seminars, we aim to make historical knowledge accessible to the local community and foster a meaningful, experiential engagement with the past. Our ultimate goal is to inform and raise public awareness, while encouraging citizens to take an active interest in issues relating to local history and cultural heritage.
- Our activities foster dialogue between history and other academic disciplines such as social anthropology and folklore studies, as well as the arts, including theater and literature. Through this interdisciplinary approach, we explore ways of bringing history to life and making historical knowledge more accessible to the public, with the ultimate aim of fostering a historical culture and promoting critical thinking in the way we understand and engage with the past.
